Q: What is the cost of a security alarm system?
A: Because every home is different, we don't have "package" prices. Following an in-home consultation, an estimate will be sent to you outlining any up-front and/or monthly costs. You can choose to sign a short-term contract (pay for the equipment up-front with lower monthly fees), or a long-term contract (low installation cost with higher monthly fees).
Q: How does your monitoring work?
A: Most of our systems are monitored in two ways: through our 24/7 monitoring station and in real-time on your smart device. If your alarm goes off, you will get an instant alert through your smart device (text, e-mail or push notification). The monitoring station will simultaneously receive the signal and act accordingly, calling you (and any other numbers you provide) and then dispatching authorities. So, even when you aren't near your phone, you're protected.
Q: Can I add video cameras to my home security?
A: Yes! We have a variety of video options available: cloud-based and hard drive-based systems; cameras that can detect faces and licence plates; cameras that can send you real-time alerts when someone walks by; cameras for indoor, outdoor, covert, harsh environments as well as environments with poor or no lighting; and many more.
